Couch to 5K, Week 1 Day 2

I did it!

I just completed the entire workout exactly as prescribed--all jog intervals, all walking, etc. It wasn't pretty, but I did it! Dang it feels great to accomplish something, no matter how small. I feel awesome! Now if you'll excuse me, I need to go puke.

Oh, and tomorrow I'm going to a running store to get some real shoes. Hooray!


  1. WhooHOO! Good job! I did week 1 day 2 yesterday, and it does feel so good to accomplish a goal. Don't forget, you can always slow down and do the jog/shuffle. There is no shame in going slowly. Keep up the great work, and good luck with the shoes.

  2. When in the day are you doing this? At night after the girls are in bed?

  3. Lindsay, I'm actually doing it during the day while the workouts are only 30 minutes long. When they get longer, I'll have to revisit that. I'm actually scheduling time to take a 30 minute lunch each day and use that as my workout time. So far it's working out well.
